  • Combining intelligent features with a stylish design, you will love this Smeg induction hob. Its 4 zones offer plenty of space to get creative with sauces, soups and stocks.
  • Because it is an induction model, electromagnets directly warm the base of your pots to avoid wasting energy. This means it has a pan detection feature as well, so the surface would not heat up until your cookware has been placed on top.
  • When you are using larger woks and casserole dishes, the Multizone function combines two zones to create a larger cooking area, to make sure everythings thoroughly heated.
  • And, if you are interrupted, there is a simple function that will pause the cooking, so nothing boils over while you are answering the phone or welcoming guests.
  • CONNECTED HOBS AND HOODS - The auto-vent function regulates hood extraction speed automatically depending on the temperature and power level selected on the hob.
  • It is therefore no longer necessary to manually adjust the settings of the cooker hood – simply use the hob as required, and the cooker hood will automatically adjust its extraction speed to match the hob settings.
  • Up to six pre-set programmes can be selected. It is also possible to manually adjust the hood from the hob simply by touching the Auto-Vent button.
  • MULTIZONE OPERATION - Smeg Multizone heating zone can be used as two independent cooking zones or combined into a single zone.
  • Each zone automatically adapts to the size and position of the dishes and is heated only where the pans locate, providing better heat distribution.
  • FAST OPERATION - Induction allows for precise temperature control when doing intricate cooking or simmering for example.
  • Heat is only generated when the pan comes into direct contact of the specific cooking zone, ensuring safety in the presence of children. This helps optimise power consumption, only using the energy needed to heat the pan itself.
  • Induction is faster than gas cooking taking only a little over a minute to boil a pint of water. Another benefit is that any splashes will not burn onto the hob top and are easily wiped clean making it safe and user friendly.
